Fraser High’s Aiga Tasi Brought the Energy — And the Purpose

Puatala recently had the privilege of delivering its Incomparable program to a standout group of students at Fraser High School known as Aiga Tasi.
Translated as “one family,” Aiga Tasi is a collective of young leaders who brought warmth, insight, and cultural pride into every part of the program. Over the course of the workshop, students explored their identity, strengthened their confidence, and engaged in meaningful conversations around purpose, leadership, and the values that shape their futures.
The Incomparable program is designed to equip youth with the soft skills and cultural grounding needed to thrive in school, in work, and in life. With a focus on connection and self-awareness, the sessions encouraged students to reflect on who they are, where they come from, and how they want to show up in the world.
What stood out throughout the week was the depth of engagement from the Aiga Tasi group. Their willingness to participate, challenge ideas, and uplift one another created a strong sense of belonging — and affirmed just how powerful youth-led spaces can be when culture and leadership go hand in hand.
Puatala acknowledges the staff at Fraser High School for their ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for their students to grow not just academically, but as confident, values-driven individuals.
The team at Puatala looks forward to continuing this important work and supporting more young people to recognise the strengths they carry within them.
